the Five pennies of Lavarède ( The Five Hundreds off Lavarede in English) is a French film of 1938 with Fernandel in first role and carried out by Maurice Cammage.

Summary

Mr Richard of Marseilles decided to bequeath all his fortune to his cousin Armand Lavarède, provided that this one makes the round the world tour with five pennies out of pocket within one hundred days. Arbitrated and supervised by sir Murlington and Bullfinch, a creditor of Lavarède, the voyage is encouraged by Aurette charming it girl to sir Murlington. The voyage starts with a clandestine crossing on the " Normandie" thwarted by Bouvreuil, which will touch the 25.000.000 million, if Lavarède fails in its attempt.
