Five of Boston
The five of Boston (or Five off Boston ) is a group of five photographers who met in Boston during their studies with the Massachusetts College off Art .
One spoke about them about Boston School . The term is excessive since they are characterized as well by the “style” the influences or the techniques. It is on the level of the topics that similarities are found: painting of the close friend, faintness of a contemporary company, importance of the relationship to the subject photographed. Nan Goldin prefers speech of Boston group , proposing the friendly relations which link them, like their common relations apart from photography.
