Five Boroughs

The Five Boroughs were a group of cities strengthened of the Danelaw of Mercie in the East of the England: Leicester, Lincoln, Nottingham, Stamford and Derby. These cities constituted a political power, the Danish Mercie.

Military colonists had taken control of the east of the country. In the Northumbrie in north, the borough capital was Jorwic , the modern York. In the East Anglia, towards south-east, the borough was Norvic , the Norwich nowadays, but in Mercie, the Viking S Danish were divided into five boroughs.
