Fiumorbo

The Fiumorbo (in Corsican: U Fium' orbu ) is small a Fleuve French of Haute-Corse.

Geography

Fiumorbo takes its source in the massive of Renosu on the plate of Pozzi to 1800 meters of altitude. It passes by the procession of Strette and that of Inzecca. After having traversed 46 kilometers, it throws in the Tyrrhenian Sea close to Ghisonaccia.

Two stoppings were built on its course, of which one on the level of Sampolo at the beginning of the procession of Inzecca.

Affluents

  • Saltaruccio (Right Bank). It joins not very front Ghisonaccia, and has a 15 kilometers length.

  • Varagno (Right Bank). It joins also a little upstream of Ghisonaccia. Its length is of 16,8 kilometers.
