Fitz-James is a common French, located in the department of the Oise and the area Picardy.

Geography

History

Formerly called Warty, took the name of Jacques Fitz-James, duke of Berwick, Marshal of France, wire naturalness of Jacques II, king d' Angleterre. The marshal acquired this seigneurery in 1704, which was set up in 1710 in duchy-peerage.
