Fitou

Fitou is a common French, located in the department of the Aude and the area Languedoc-Roussillon.

Its inhabitants is called Fitounais.

Geography

Commune located in the Corbières and more precisely in the maritime Corbières

History

At the time Roman of many constructions were drawn up on the Voie Domitienne energy of Spain in Italy according to the site of the sources of water.

Because of position meadows of the border between the Spain and the France, the village was exposed several times at the invasions.
