Fishing permit

The fishing permit or chart of fishing is delivered with the fisherman, in the name of the French State, by a Association approved of fishing and protection of the aquatic environments (AAPPMA) by the means of a Cotisation For the Aquatic environments (CPMA).

The holder of a chart of fishing thus has the right to practice his leisure:

  • in all the batches of its association, managed in water where the Fishing rights belongs to the State or in nondomanial water, since fishing is authorized there by the regulation
  • in the batches exploited by other associations that his which is accessible for him within the framework from the reciprocity, federal or interdépartementale for example, realizing, if necessary, the payment of a contribution réciprocitaire;
  • everywhere in France in water where the fishing rights belong to the state (primarily public domain), using one only line;
  • in the rivers and nondomanial water levels (where the fishing rights belongs respectively to the bordering owners and to the owners of the funds) subject having the permission of the holder of the fishing rights (with personal capacity, authorization, lease, adhesion).

To note that since January 1st, 2007, the piscicultural tax is replaced by the Cotisation For the Aquatic environments (CPMA), that this one is single for all the types of fishing and that there do not exist any more exemptions. On the other hand one is founded (CPMA) " Nobody mineure" (from 12 to 18 years) which rises with 1€ and children of less than 12 years are not fixed there.
