the First Men in the moon ( The First Men in the Moon ) is a novel of Science-fiction, written in 1901 by H.G. Wells (the United Kingdom).

History

Cavor, a scientist, develops the cavorite, a revolutionary metal which creates weightlessness, with which it builds a spacecraft. Accompanied by Bedford, a young adventurer wanting to make fortune, it moves towards the Moon where they discover the underground age of Selenites.
