First epistle in Thessaloniciens

The First epistle in Thessaloniciens is a book of the New Testament.

Context

It is sent by the apostle Paul, from the town of Corinth, with the Church of Thessalonique, during its first visit in Europe. According to any probability, she was written into 50-51. So it is about the oldest writing of New Testament.

Its work in Thessalonique is described in Actes 17. It wanted to go back there but could not do it (1 Th 2:18). It thus sent Timothée to comfort the converts and to say to them how it went. He wrote the first epistle to express his gratitude at the time of the return of Timothée.
