First arts person

In France, the class of first Arts person , known as first L , follows the second and precedes the final entry in . It is sanctioned by anticipated tests of French, mathematics-data processing and scientific teaching at the end of the year.

Distribution in the timetable

  • French : six hours
  • History-Geography: four hours
  • LV1 (English or German): three hours or four according to the weeks
  • LV2 (English, German, Spanish or Italian): two hours
  • Mathematical: two hours
  • Physical: one hour (except one week out of four)
  • Life sciences and Earth: one hour (except one week out of four)
  • EPS: two hours
  • Option (LV additional, arts, mathematics): three hours (for example for option Italian LV3, five hours for arts)
