Névé is a collective of artists formed in 2004 by Stephan Arnoldi, Fabien Bret and Luc Sibille which met with the course their studies. Its head office is with Vassieux-in-Vercors (Drome). According to the founders, this association allows them " amongst other things; sociabiliser because all alone one is made Chier " .

History of the collective

The name Névé translates the idea of the heap of Neige of Montagne which perdure in the time but which is transformed by this one. The passage of the Temps on the Névé does not transform it into an object of a less value but on the contrary makes another thing of it, gives him a news Vie, just like the influence of the Temps on the objects is a feature common to all the material work S artistic.

One of the characteristics of the group is that none of its members makes his artistic Production its primary source of income; they try to show thus that the visual Art can have its place in the Quotidien of each one. This step questions finally the relevance of the Artiste socially distinct Plasticien.
Aussi, in its protean work, Névé wonders about the representation of the world or that of the Temps, on the Vision which one carries on his Environnement and to his to remember S, but also on subjects such as the Consommation, the Coût and the shortage of the Raw materials, the Urbanisme.
