Fininvest
Fininvest is one of most important the Italian holding financial . It is controlled by the family of old the President of the Italian Council Silvio Berlusconi.
Founded in 1961 in Milan by Silvio Berlusconi, it is currently chaired of her oldest daughter Marie Elvira.
In 2004, the Berlusconi family has approximately 96% of Fininvest.
Fininvest has 35,54% of Mediaset, group of hertzian television which is in competition with the Rai and controls three networks: Canale 5, Italia 1 and Retequattro.
Finivest has moreover 35% of Mediolanum (Finance departments); 100% of Medusa and Teatro Manzoni (Cinema) and 100% of AC Milan (Football)
Fininvest also controls to 50% Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, the first publishing company and of press of Italy. The branch magazine of Mondarori publishes more than 50 titles.
In August 2006, Arnoldo Mondadori Editore took the control of the French subsidiary company of the British press group Emap Plc, third French editor. In September of the same year, Emap France was renamed Mondadori France.
