Findlay jack

Jack Findlay (born the February 5th 1935 with Shepparton, Australia and dead the May 19th 2007 with Vaucresson, France), is a pilot speed motor bike Australian.

Biography

Major figure of the Grands Prix motor bike, with a career which was spread out of 1961 with 1978, Jack Findlay obtained its best classification with the championship of the world with the title of vice-champion of the world 500 Cm3 in 1968, behind unbeatable the Giacomo Agostini.

With its prize list, it counts three victories in championship of the world 500 Cm3, of which mythical the Tourist Trophy in 1973. It also gained the championship of Formula 750 (which had this year row of championship of Europe) in 1975.

It was the principal subject of the film " Continental Circus" of Jerome Laperrousaz (1972), film which recalls while following Jack Findlay a whole season, which could be the life of a pilot deprived through one season of Grands Prix.
