Fily Dabo Sissoko
Fily Dabo Sissoko was a writer and politician Malian, born on May 15th 1900 in Horokoto (French Sudan, current Mali, meadows of Bafoulabé) and deceased on June 30th 1964 in a bagne with Kidal.
Biography
Ethnos group khassonké, it makes its studies primary education in Bafoulabé, then is registered at the Teacher training school Teachers of Gorée. He teaches at the regional school of Bafoulabé before becoming in 1933 chief of canton of Niambia, succeeding his father. He takes part in the linked activities with the Popular front with resistance.
In 1945, it is elected appointed with the constituent Assembly French like in 1946, then with the French National Assembly in 1946, 1951 and 1956. He becomes under-secretary of State to the Industry and the Trade of the Gouvernement Robert Schuman (2) (from November 5th to 11th 1948).
He is with the head of the Parti Sudanese progressist (PSP), preserving political party, having the support of the traditional chiefs and the colonizers. In 1957, at the time of the cantonal elections, the PSP is beaten for the Union African democratic Sudanese woman-Gathering (US/RDA) of Modibo Keïta. Whereas the parties amalgamate in 1959, Fily Dabo Sissoko is opposed to the socialist option preached by Modibo Keïta. This one, become president of independent Mali, the captive fact in 1962 because he is opposed to the creation of the frank Malian. Condemned to died for attempt at destabilization of the state, its sorrow is commuted to prison with perpetuity. It purges its sorrow in a bagne meadows of Kidal where it dies under mysterious conditions in 1964.
Parallel to its political career, he is writer and publishes many poems, news and tests, sticking to the defense of the cultural identity Malian. He takes part in the rehabilitation of the oral tradition.
He was member of freemasonry
