Saint

  • Saint Fillan is an Irish monk of the 7th century, wire of Sainte Kentigerne and nephew of Saint Comgan, hermit with Glendochart, close to Perth (Tayside, Scotland). It is very popular in Scotland. In 1314, the king Robert Bruce recovers a relic of the saint before the battle of Bannockburn and the merit of its victory to him on the English allots. It is celebrated the January 9th.
