Filadière

The filadière is a traditional Bateau of the Low-Dordogne, the Low-Garonne and estuary of the the Gironde.

Characteristics

  • Boat of wood from 6 to 7 m length, nondecked, pointed at the two ends.
  • Its before is slightly round and high.
  • a chechmate very ahead.
  • a veil with the third, to which can be added lateen sail and Voile of stay.

Use

  • fishing
- It is practiced with the net. One fished the Lamproie, the Alose, the created or sturgeon inter alia fish.
