Exceptionally, the RESULTING one authorizes the professional skaters to take again their statute of amateur and compétitionner. This rule allowed Katarina Witt, Brian Boitano, Viktor Petrenko, the couple in dance on ice Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean as well as the couple Ekaterina Gordeeva & Sergei Grinkov to return to the competition amateur.
