Fights of Barrega

naval Battle delivered the January 27th 1828, in Argentinian, in the Estuary of Plata, during the War of Cisplatine (1825 -1828).

A Brazilian squadron made up of three brigs ( Maranhão , Caboclo and Pirajà ) and of a Goélette ( Constança ), continues two ships Argentinian Corsaire S ( El-Cheer and Federal-Argentino ) and sets fire to them after having caught up with them.
