Ficus retusa

The Ficus retusa is one of Ficus very often cultivated in Bonsaï because it is one of the rare species of tree which can support to be cultivated like a House plant.

It has rather thick Feuille S alternate with a little waxy aspect. Its old bark is grisâtre dark, marbled clearer bands called Lenticelle S. As for the majority of the ficus, of the white latex runs out when one cuts a branch from there.

Maintenance
