Fianarantsoa

Fianarantsoa is a Ville located at the south-east of the island of Madagascar, Capitale of the province of the same name.

Shopping mall and road crossroads, Fianarantsoa is connected by the railroad to Manakara on the east coast. The neighbouring area, located at 1  200 meters of altitude on the high plateaus of the area of the Bétsiléo, partially cultivates the Tabac, the Riz, the Raisin and the Café. It also has farms specialized in the breeding of the Bétail, the soap factories and the oil mills. Local industries rest on the treatment of rice, the conditioning of the Viande of ox, the manufacture of brick S and the work of the Bois.

In 1990, the population of the city bordered the 125  000 inhabitants.
