Festuca gigantea

The Festuca gigantea or giant fescue is a species of the kind Festuca and of the family of the Poaceae .

This plant measures between 60 and 150 cm. She flowers from June to September.

She populates the fresh or wet forests, the cuts and the forest roads as well as the edges of water.

She meets in Europe (except in north) and in Occidental Asia and central.

She is rather common in the Parisian Tertiary sector, Bolted it, in Picardy, in Lorraine, in Wallonia and in Western Eiffel but is rather rare out of Champagne and in the Ardennes.
