The Festival of the cinemas of Ireland and Great Britain , in the beginning Festival of the cinemas of Great Britain (or Festival of Cherbourg ) is a festival French of cinema organized since 1984 by association Travelling (law of 1901) intended for the film promotion of Ireland and Great Britain.

Since 1997, Travelling widened its cinematographic panorama by accommodating the Irish cinema within this festival.

The editions are held around homages, of retrospectives and news.

The festival of the cinemas of Ireland and Great Britain, which attracted nearly 7.000 people in 2002, can be prevailed of a regional radiation.
