Festival of arts in the street of Morlaix

Festival of theater of street created in 1987, the Festival of Arts in the Street (Far) of Morlaix is one of oldest festivals to be itself seized these new forms of theatrical writings for public spaces. Since 1997, the town of Morlaix entrusted the artistic director and the organization of it to the Furnace, National center of Arts of the Street in Brittany.

The spirit of the FAR is to invite inhabitants and people of passage to a voyage in the middle of the city, among a variety of spectacles which explore with requirement the multiple fields of the creation of the theater of street: dance, theater, circus, music, visual arts…

Ca surprises, that questions, that made laugh or réver, that scrapes… a little, that brushes also but not in the direction of the hair! By proposing this original and festive artistic course, the FAR of Morlaix affirms the importance of the artistic presences in the city, to taste together, with happiness, another vision of the daily newspaper.
