Festival of Gramado

The Festival of the Brazilian and Latin-American cinema of Gramado (" Festival of Gramado " in Portuguese) is a festival of Cinéma Latino-américain of the Brésil. It is held each year since 1973 in the month of August to the Palate of the Festivals of Gramado. The decreed prices are the Kikitos .

History

The Festival of Gramado was created in 1969 but was officialized only in January 1973 by the National institute of Cinema (Inc) of Brazil, to represent the national cinema. The first edition took place of the 10 to the January 14th 1973. In 1980, it was wide to also represent the cinema Latino-américain. From the Years 1990, the date is stabilized around the month of August, after having alternated between the be and the Automne.
