Festival Paris Cinema

Initiate and supported by the Town hall of Paris since 2003, the Festival Paris Cinéma wants to be a demonstration general public, eclectic, plural and exploded view in his places.

Organized by an association whose actress Charlotte Rampling takes the since June 2006 Presidency, Paris Cinéma has the role to incarnate, at the beginning of the summer and in all the districts of Paris, the vitality of the cinema and the exceptional diversity of films, cinematographic kinds, programs and events, public and rooms which Paris offers, throughout the year.

Edition 2003

In 2003, for its first edition, Paris Cinéma was held July 2nd with the July 15th.

Edition 2004

In 2004, Paris Cinéma was held June 28th with the July 13rd.

In 2005, it is held June 28th with the July 12th 2005. 400 films are diffused in 20 rooms. The festival is chaired in 2005 by the realizer Costa-Gavras.

Bamako of the realizer Abderrahmane Sissako received the Grand Prix of the Public the July 11th 2006. Old Joy of Kelly Reichardt was the prize winner of the Price of the Press and It is the winter of Rafi Pitts that of the Price of the Future.
