Ferry II of Vaudémont

Ferry II of Lorraine , born towards 1428, died in Joinville the August 31st 1470 was count de Vaudémont and lord de Joinville of 1458 with 1470. It was wire of Antoine of Lorraine, count de Vaudémont and lord de Joinville and of Marie, countess of Aumale and baroness of Tweed. It is sometimes numbered Ferry V by continuity with the dukes of Lorraine.
He married with Nancy in 1445 his cousin Yolande of Anjou (° 1428 † 1483), girl of Rene Ier of Anjou, king de Naples, duke of Anjou, of Bar and of Lorraine, count de Provence, and of Isabelle, duchess of Lorraine. This marriage put an end to the litigation which existed between the fathers of the two husbands, in connection with the succession of the duchy of Lorraine. They had:

- * Marguerite (° 1463 † 1521), married in 1488 with Rene (° 1454 † 1492), duke of Alençon
- * Rene II (° 1451 † 1508), duke of Lorraine
His/her father-in-law will fill it honor and, in 1453, it orders the troops that this one sends to the dolphin Louis to help it to fight the duke of Savoy.
In 1456 Rene entrusts the government of the to him Duché of Bar, then in 1459 the load ( honorary ) of general lieutenant of Sicily.
