Studies and career

Born within a military family, Fernando Puell returns at 17 years to the Spanish Military General Academy. Lieutenant in 1965, he is colonel in 1993. In 1977, the general Gutiérrez Mellado names Puell with the new Ministry for Spanish National defense.
