Fernand Gravey

Fernand Gravey ( Fernand Maurice No5el Martens of its true name) is a Belgian Acteur born with Ixelles (Brussels) on December 25th, 1904 or 1905, according to the sources. He dies the November 2nd 1970 with Paris.

Biography

His/her parents, Fernande Dépernay and Georges Mertens are actors.

Child, it plays in five Belgian films of the scenario writer Alfred Machin: Saïda removed Manneken-Pis ; an episode of Waterloo ; Mr Beulemeester, civic guard ; Thirty years or life of a player in 1913 and the Girl of Delft in 1914.

During the war 1914-1918, it remains in England. Teenager, it directs himself towards the theater. He settles in Paris at the end of the Années 1920 where he makes known himself under the name of Fernand Gravey .

He is engaged by the Paramount which has just built studios close to the French capital.
