Fereydoun
Fereydoun is a king mythical Iran IEN and a hero symbol of victory, justice, and generosity in the Littérature Persian. According to the Shahnamah of Ferdowsi, Fereydoun was the son of Abtine and one of the descendants of Jamshid. Fereydoun, with Kaveh revolted against the tyrannical king Zahhak and could beat it and stop it in the mounts Elbourz. After that, Fereydoun became king according to the legend, and reigned on the country during nearly 500 years (according to the Zend-Avesta).
At the end of its life, it divided the kingdom between its three sons, Salm , Tur and Iraj . Iraj was the youngest son and preferred of Fereydoun, and he inherited the preferred part of the kingdom of his father, the Iran. Salm and Tur inherited the minor Asia and the Central Asia respectively. That made grow the desire of the brothers of Iraj and encouraged them to kill it.
After the murder of Iraj, Fereydoun put on the throne the small son of Iraj, Manouchehr before its death. The attempt made by Manouchehr avenge the murder for his/her father marks the beginning of the wars Turo-Iranian women . Its successors were the last Pichdadien S. One a long time believed to see in Fereydoun the Arbacès Greeks: since, some scientists fought this opinion.
