Ferdinand, count de Marcin (born with Liege the February 10th 1656 - died with Turin the September 9th 1706) tale of Marchin and the Holy Empire, marquis de Clermont d' Entragues, count de Graville, lord of Modave and Valeffe Old man, Marshal of France in 1703.

To died from his father, it passes to the court of Louis XIV, and receives comamndement company of gendarmes of Flandres, creates for him. Sergeant in 1688. It is wounded during the battles of Fleurus in 1690. Brigadier in 1793, it fights in the Flandres during the Guerre of the league of Augsburg, in particular with Neerwinden and Charleroi. Managing director of the cavalry in 1795, it obtains the patent of general Lieutenant. Of 1701 with 1702, he is ambassador of France near the king of Spain.

It takes then share with the Bataille of Luzzara where it covers glory. From return in France, it receives the government of Aire. After the catch of Whorl during the War of succession of Spain, it is created Marshal of France, it orders the troops in Bavaria, and delivers in 1704, with the marshal of Tallard the Bataille of Blenheim. Beaten by Eugene of Savoy and Marlborough, it prtotège the retirement.

It is order then in Alsace, before being to send in the Piedmont, where it directs the operations of the duke of Orleans. The September 7th 1706, it seriously is wounded and made captive with the Bataille of Turin, delivered against its opinion. He dies two days later of the continuations of his wounds.
