Fennel

The word fennel indicates a multitude of plants of various kinds, in particular of the family of the Apiaceae . They are herbaceous plants with the aromatic foliage, of which some are consumable.

    • the soft Fennel or fennel of Provence , Foeniculum vulgare VAr. dulce is fennel also consumed with the manner of the Céleri.

  • the bastard fennel or odorous Dill, Anethum graveolens , is cultivated for its very aromatic sheets and its seeds.

  • the Fennel of the Alps or fennel of mountain , Meum athamanticum is used like plants condiment for its aromatic sheets.

  • the annual fennel or Am visnage , Visnaga daucoides is not consumed.
