Fell
The Fell is a British race of Poney. He is sometimes considered, as well as the Dales, the Fjord or the Haflinger like Horse draft.
History
Fell belongs to the Poney S which grew under hard conditions. Its area of origin is the Pennines (northern of England), escarpé, poor and windy site. Its name comes from the rock peaks of the western slope of Pennines, named Fells. These origins are very old because they go back to the Romans who used it as Cheval bldg. It was crossed with the ancestors of the Clippings, from where her curly black dress and its hairs. The race having the most influence is especially the Galoway, now disappeared.

Fell is mainly high in England in semi-freedom, which makes it possible the race to preserve its rusticity vis-a-vis a rigorous climate. This pony is also in Switzerland, in the United States and Canada. The Dutchmen appreciate it because Fell resembles a Frison mignature
