Felix Wuertz
Felix Wuertz or Wirtz is a Chirurgie N Suisse, born about 1514 with Basle and died in 1574 or 1575 in this same city.
Friend of Paracelse (1493-1541) and of Conrad Gessner (1516-1565), follower of Ambroise Paré (v. 1510-1590), it exerts a great influence at his time.
He is the author of the work Practica der Wundarzney, darin allerlei schädliche Misbräuche of Wundarzles abgeschafft werden… (Basle, 1563, translated into French in 1672-1689).
