Felix Pierre Jousseaume
Felix Pierre Jousseaume is a zoologist French, born the April 12th 1835 with Vervant (Charente-Maritime) and dead the November 3rd 1921.
He studies the Médecine and obtains a title of doctor with Paris in 1862, city where he will exert. Its thesis is entitled parasitic Plants of the Man . It takes part in the foundation of the zoological Société of France which it chairs in 1878.
Jousseaume is interested in the Mollusque S on which it makes appear several articles. In the years 1890, it is devoted entirely to these animals and gives up the medical practice. It makes several voyage in Red Sea and offers its collections to the national Muséum of natural history of Paris. It makes appear many articles in particular in the Naturaliste, review illustrated of the natural science , the Nouvelles files of the scientific expeditions and literary , the Revue and store of zoology , the Bulletin of the zoological Company of France . It makes also appear in 1899 Philosophy with the catches with the Red Sea, the Darwinism and the 3 reigns of the organized bodies (A. Maloine, Paris: xii + 559 p.), in 1907 Of the Attraction and other jokes of science (A. Maloine, Paris: 160 p.) and in 1914 Impressions of voyage in printed Apharras, anthropology, philosophy, morals of people wandering shepherd and warlike (J. - B. Baillière and wire, Paris, two volumes: xviii + 700 and 575 p.).
