Felix Bollaert
Felix Bollaert (1855 - 1936) was a business manager of the company of the mines of Lens.
The stage of RC Lens bears in particular its name.
Arrived at Lens in 1856, he is the son of a rich person chairman of the board of the mines, Edouard Bollaert. Studying at the Polytechnic school of Lille, it is then in charge of the direction of the business service of the mines lensoises.
During the First World War, he is artillery commander, and receives in 1918 the rivet washer of Officer of the Legion of Honor and the tie of commander of the British Empire.
In 1922, it replaces his/her father to the presidency of the Board of directors, and takes part in the rebirth of musical, military but so sporting companies.
With his Marthe wife Gavrian, it creates several prices and foundations. He will die in December 1936, at the 81 years age.
To pay homage to him, the company of the mines of Lens gives its name to pit 13 of the city, then at the stage builds two years before by this same company.
His/her back-small-girl Faustine Bollaert is TV host on France 2 and presenter on the Radio station Europe 1.
