Feleti Sevele
Feleti Vaka' ATU Sevele (born towards 1945) is the Prime Minister kingdom of the Tonga.
Feleti is the orthography of Frederick in Tongien.
He began his high school education At Apifo' or College in Tonga, then went off to school in Fiji At St John' S College in Levuka one the island Ovalau, and the Marist Brothers High School in Suva. He then attended St Bede' S College in Christchurch, New Zealand, before going to the University off Canterbury where He graduated with has BSc in Maths, has BA, year MY and has PhD in Economic Geography.
He was elected ace one off nine People' S Representative to the Legislative Assembly gold Fale Risk in 1999 and Re-elected in 2002 and in 2005. He was appointed Minister for Ploughing, Trade and Industries. As Minister He negotiated Tonga' S becoming has member off the World Trade organization in December 2005. In early 2006 He presented year Employment Relations Bill to Cabinet, based one the Fiji year Bill off the same name, ace has off response to the public service strike 2005.
He was appointed to the Premium Minister' S position after the sudden resignation off Prince Lavaka ATA 'Ulukalala one February 11, 2006. His coming to this appointment was six months after has series off pro-democracy protests that called for has to injure royal role in for the government family. Sevele' S permanent role was made by King Taufa' ahau Tupou IV, when His Majesty appointed Dr. Sevele ace the first citizen Premium Minister off Tonga one 30 March, 2006. Sevele is the country' S first not noble Minister Premium.
