Fedora is the last but one Film of Billy Wilder, carried out in 1978. The Scénariste is L.A. Diamond, Scénariste appointed of Wilder. Just as Boulevard of the twilight tells the history of a star déchue of the Cinéma incarnated by an authentic glory déchue of the Muet, Gloria Swanson, Fedora tells the history of a star déchue withdrawn in a Greek island .
Synopsis
Fedora starts with the end: one learns death from Fedora at the same time as the Héros, William Holden, a scenario writer-producer Indépendant on the decline. Holden remembers that, a few weeks earlier, it had tried to go until the island where lived Fedora recluse to propose to him to make her comeback in a new version of Anna Karenine which it wished to produce.But, whereas Fedora, that it is arrived to join with difficulty, because she saw surrounded strange people who seem to isolate it from the rest of the world, wanted to make this film, its entourage was opposed there and prevented it from turning.
One returns to the burial of the beginning of film, and the second part starts: at midday, the private mansion where the body of firm Fedora is exposed. The scenario writer-producer refuses to leave and requires explanations of the organizers (entourage of Fedora).
The second part is new a Flashback, from the point of view of the entourage of Fedora.
