Federation of the National guard

The republican Fédération of the National guard is the organization which must federate the various battalions of the National guard of Paris in 1871.

During the head office of Paris, the national guards plan to gather, to federate (taken up idea of the Revolution of 1789). The Central committee of the National guard works out the statutes of this federation, which is born on March 20th, 1871. The statutes specify that the Republic is the final mode of France. The National guard has the right to name and revoke its chiefs. The federation has different levels from operation: a general meeting, circles of battalion, councils of legion and a Central committee of the National guard. All the delegates at these organizations are elected and revocable. For the operation of the Federation each company of the National guard must pour a monthly contribution of a minimum of 5 francs.
