The Fédération of the companies of Belgium in summary FEB is a Non-profit-making association which federates the sectoral organizations employers of the 3 areas of the Belgium. They on the whole represent more 30.000 companies , of which 25.000 SME .

In terms of employment, this representativeness can be evaluated with some 1,5 million of workers in the private sector.

It is resulting from fusion in 1973 of the Federation of Belgian industries - FIB and of the Federation of the nonindustrial companies of Belgium - FENIB. Like voice of the companies of all active sizes in Belgium, the FEB has as an ambition: to work with the creation of a entrepreneurial environment optimal, to promote the interests of the companies on the plans federal, European and international (in 150 bodies), to support the coherence message and action of those and those which undertake. The initiatives developed by the FEB are founded on the values of the social economy of market, sustainable development, the ethics of company, the good governance, the dialog and self-regulation.

The FEB also intends to contribute to the emergence of the trades of the future , like with their complementarity, in particular in the service sectors, of industry and construction.

Jean Claude Daoust is the president of the Fédération of the companies of Belgium since April 28th, 2005 and chairman of the company Daoust Intérim.
