Federation of Paraguay of football

The Fédération of Paraguay of football ( Asociación Paraguaya de Fútbol APF) is an association gathering the clubs of Football Paraguay and organizing national competitions and the international matches of the selection of Paraguay. It is based with Asuncion

The national federation of Paraguay is founded in 1906 by the representatives of the 5 existing clubs at the time: Olimpia, Guarani, Libertad, General Díaz and Nacional, it names initially the Liga Paraguaya de Fútbol . It changes name into 1998 and becomes the Asociación Paraguaya de Fútbol (APF) . It is affiliated with FIFA since 1925 and is member of CONMEBOL since 1921.
