The federal Public service (SPF) Social security is the federal Public service Belgian qualified in the field of the Social security.
This SPF is qualified in particular in the following fields:

Granting of the allowances to the people Handicap ées ( Head office handicapped People )
- Preparation of the legislation relating to the social security in collaboration with the qualified ministers, the public institutions of social security and the federal Public service Employment, Work and social Dialog ( Head office Industrial relations policy )
- Execution of the legislation concerning the civilian victims of the war and management of funds of files of war ( Service of the Victims of the War )
