Federal court of the insurances (Swiss)
The Federal court of the insurances (TFA) had been founded in 1918 and had its seat with Lucerne. Into January 1st, 2007, it was integrated in the Federal court.
Competences
- the TFA treated recourse as regards federal Social Security.
Administrative plan
- It constituted one of the courses of the Federal court of Lausanne, but it had its seat in Lucerne and was organized in an autonomous way.

On the administrative level, the Federal court of the insurances was submitted exclusively to the high surveillance of the federal Parliament.
