Feastday (Beethoven)
Zur Namensfeier , in French Feastday , COp 115, is a symphonic opening in C minor of Ludwig van Beethoven made up in 1815. She is very seldom played.
Its title refers to the feastday of the emperor François I {{er}}. Beethoven used there a topic which it provided at the beginning to put in music the ode At the joy of Schiller.
