Faversham

Faversham is a small town of the Kent located at 30 minutes in the train of the town of Dover (England).

It has nearly 500 classified buildings " historiques" dating from the 13th century at the 20th century. It also holds some records: that of the oldest factory of Gunpowder of the world but also of the oldest brewery of England (1698). It is also a dynamic city with a brisk place of the market three times per week (Tuesday, Friday Saturday) and of many completely traditional pubs .
The July 14th 1847 and the April 2nd 1916, Faversham was the place of accidental explosions which made date: 18 died for the first, and 172 for the second.

Faversham is twinned with the French city of Hazebrouck.
