Helene Kowalska was born on August 25th, 1905 in Poland. She feels a call to the religious life as of the 7 years age. In the " Small Journal" that it left one can particularly read the extraordinary promises that Jesus made him, for those which would celebrate Sunday of the Mercy. In addition, during successive revelations, Jesus asks on several occasions that one honor a miraculous image by the means of the recitation of a special prayer…
" I promise that the heart which will honor this image will not be lost " " By this image, I will grant many graces to the hearts… that each heart thus has access to it … "
By canonizing Faustine the last of the millenium, and by instituting Sunday of the Mercy in the Universal Church, Jean-Paul II gave a lighting very particular to the life of this holy.
Sœur Marie-Faustine was Béatifiée on April 18th, 1993 then Canonisée on April 30th, 2000 in Rome. From now on one venerates it under the name of holy Faustine.
