Faure island

Known under the name of Faure Island in English, the island Faure is a island Australia nne located at the center of the Havre Hamelin, large a bay occupying the oriental party of the Golfe of the Indian Ocean which one commonly calls Baie Shark and which is located on the coast western of the Western Australia. It was named in the honor of Pierre Faure, geographer French which discovered it at the end of the month of August 1801 whereas he took part in the forwarding towards the southern Lands of Nicolas Baudin.
