Fauna of the Comoros

the the Comoros are an archipelago of the Indian Ocean which comprises many endemic species and disappeared species. Knowledge on this fauna is incomplete. Fauna mammalienne is poor in spite of the number of biotope S. It is characterized nevertheless by the presence of two species of lemurs and a dogfish ( Pteropus livingstonii ) threatened of extinction (400 individuals in the world present only at Anjouan and Mohéli).
