Fatal Fury
Fatal Fury , Garou Densetsu with the Japan, is a series of plays of combat in 2D developed by SNK on Neo-Geo and Borne of arcade and adapted on various supports. The exit of the first episode in 1991, a few months after that of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior of Capcom, mark the beginning of a competition baited between the two companies, Fatal Fury remaining the series fetish of SNK until the arrival in 1994 of King off Fighters .
Gameplay
The principal originality brought by Fatal Fury is to make it possible to fight on two different levels. The player indeed has the possibility of moving his character of before with the background, so in particular dodging the attacks of the adversary. The three characters sélectionnables has moreover blows being able to relate of a plan to the other or to the two plans at the same time. The principle of the various plans was altered thereafter and finally abandoned in the ultimate episode, Garou: Mark off the Wolves .Various systems of play were gradually introduced. The boxing ring-outs , which give the possibility of gaining the victory by ejecting the adversary of the surface of combat. Complex systems of parade, which make it possible to dodge an attack completely or to regain energy by blocking it. Many combinations of possible blows (the combo S) or famous the furies , attacks as spectacular as devastators.
History
Just like some other plays SNK, the history of Fatal Fury proceeds in the fictitious American city of Southtown. Corroded by the crime and corruption and directed iron hand by the Godfather of the underworld local Geese Howard, this city off accommodates each year the tournament of the King Fighters , which allows to the combatants more aguerris to be measured then to face the right-hand man of Howard, invincible Billy Kane. The brothers Terry and Andy Bogard decide to take part in the tournament with an aim of being avenged death for their father, the expert in martial arts Jeff Bogard, assassinated under mysterious conditions by Geese Howard, certainly with an aim of sitting its seizure on Southtown. Helped for that by their friend Joe Higashi, they arrive after having overcome Billy Kane to be triumphed over Howard. The second part of the series, Fatal Fury 2 and Fatal Fury Special brings Terry, Andy and Joe, accompanied by eight new protagonists, without counting the surprised appearance of Ryo Sakazaki, to clash in a new proceeding tournament this time on a worldwide scale. The exit of the battle will allow King Fighters off moment to meet colossal Wolfgang Krauser in a combat of anthology under bottom of symphonic music.King off Fighters having become a series with whole share, Fatal Fury 3 , sobrement subtitle “On the way towards the final victory” gives up the idea of tournament and offers like narrative screen a track race between Terry Boggard, his/her friends as well as newcomers, and Geese Howard, to try to seize parchments of immortality. They will have to face the course of their adventures with Ryuji Yamazaki, coldly released from prison like to the mysterious brothers Jin, Chonshu and Chonrei.
After this third episode, the history will only evolve/move very little even at all with the three next episodes, entitled “Real Bout”: Real Bout Fatal Fury is marked by a new confrontation between Terry Bogard and Geese Howard, Real Bout Fatal Fury Special by the return of Wolfgang Krauser, Laurence Blood, Tung Fu Rue and Cheng Sinzan, and finally Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 by the arrival of two new characters, Li Xiangfei and Rick Strowd.
History of Garou: Mark off the Wolves proceeds ten year later. Except for Terry Bogard, the totality of the former characters are replaced by newcomers who often empreintent their style of combat to their famous elder. Khushnood Butt is thus to inherit it the school of Kyokugenryo karate, Rock Howard is the son of Geese Howard, and Kim Jae Hoon and Kim Dong Hwan those of Kim Kaphwan. The combatants engage in a tournament initiated by the new Godfather of Southtown, Kain R. Heinlein and whose exit will reveal in Rock Howard the heavy secrecy of its heritage.

Nettou Garou Densetsu 2 (1994) is the adaptation of Fatal Fury 2 on Game Boy. Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition (1998) is a version 3D of Fatal Fury on Borne of arcade and functioning on the system Hyper Neo-Geo 64. The play was adapted on PlayStation in 1999 and was proposed in remote loading on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable in 2007. Real Boils Garou Densetsu Special: Dominated Mind (1998) is the conversion of Real Bout Fatal Fury Special to Playstation. Nettou Real Bout Garou Densetsu Special (1998) is the bearing of Real Bout Fatal Fury Special on Game Boy. Fatal Fury: First Contact (1999) is the adaptation of Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 on Neo-Geo Pocket.
