Faros

The Faros is a variety of Pomme.

It has as synonyms:

  • Faro
  • Faraud

Its form is a little spherical applatie. Regular, gauges average. Very short stalk.

Its flesh is white (a little yellow-greenish). Enough juicy, crunching and scented.

Thick skin, constant red side sun, clear green under a sheet.

Rustic variety far from sensitive to the diseases, preserves until March

Originating in the Seine and Northern Marne, often in slopes.

The port of the tree particular, is enchevétré and vigorous but " pleureur" , Type 4, little alternating.

Semi-late flowering (+7j) Pollinated by Beautiful Yellow Fleur or White Calville.

She is to be crunched, or for the Cidre
