Farms of Guyancourt
Seven large firm existed on the territory of Guyancourt located in the department of the Yvelines and the area Île-de-France. Whole or part of the buildings of those Ci always exist and are reconverted in: residences, arts center, pertaining to worship space, buildings of teaching, offices or remains simply a farm.

The parish is integrated at the end of the XVII ième Century in large the Parc of Versailles. The major part of the grounds is acquired by Louis XIV and its successors. The farm of Bouviers belonged to the Collège of Walk, then it was sold with the Collège of Montaigu. During the integration of Guyancourt in the park of Versailles, it became a Royale farm. Those are then farmers of the King who manage it: Thomas Piot in 1707, Charles Thomas Piot in 1750, Jean Thomas Piot in 1782 then Louis Bedier in 1783.

Two farms of Hole
There existed two farms in the hamlet of Hole. The farm of the Ladies of Port-Royal-of-Fields acquired by them in 1658 and another more modest farm pertaining to the King.
The farm of Villaroy
The historian Jean Lebeuf indicates that a comandery of Villaray appears in the catalog of the large Masters of the hospital and military Ordre of Saint-Lazare-of-Jerusalem in 1642. Then the commander Mr. Breget sold it to the king who will remain owner until the revolution about it.

The farm of Beautiful-Plays about
From 1918 to 1920, the farmer Eugene Henri Pierre Besnard, owner of the farm of Bellebas made build at the exit of the center village, one quoted working. These semi-detached houses, built out of stone of meuliére and bricks, were intended to the farm laborers of the farm of Mr Besnard. It is a practice comparable with the industrialists of North, but rather exeptionnelle in the rural world. Henri Besnard was in addition Maire of Guyancourt at that time. His/her son him also with the head of the farm of Bellebas, succeeds a few years as Maire later to him (see the list of the mayors in the paragraph administration of the page Guyancourt). These houses are always visible street of the gravels, only one having been destroyed to carry out the place Hélder Câmara.On the postcard opposite it is the distilling of the farm of the Besnard family. It is about a true factory, built in 1891 and which will function until 1960. After the harvest of beets on the grounds of the farm, those Ci are discharged in the tanks in the foreground from the postcard. After cleanbeing cleaned and washbeing washed, they are cut out. Then it is the fermentation of grinds in tanks, alcohol is extracted by Distillation. The residues are used then for the animal feed.

About 1890, the bridge levis was replaced by a bridge into grinding which always exists.
The farm of Herdsmen
After the bankruptcy of Oberkampf, the farm is sold. One finds between 1861 and 1872, Ferdinand Lebeau as farm which was also Maire of Guyancourt. It is in 1987, that the exploitation ceased, Mr Hue in was then the owner. Today in 2007, the buildings are rented at a private company of park
The farm of the Mine
In 1892, the farmer Mr Leclère unearths in a field of the farm of the Mine, a ballot box dating from the Roman time which proves an occupation at that time. In 1952, this exploitation of 260 hectares is bought by the National institute of the agronomic research which installs there thereafter the laboratories and services of the Mine.
Two farms of Hole
The hamlet of Hole is included today in the district of the Wild rabbits. The farm of the Ladies of Royal Port is currently in the course of transformation, it must shelter the Institute Pierre-Simon Laplace soon (IPSL): Observatory of Sciences of the Universe. In 2009,250 to 300 researchers and engineers sciences of the universe to a few hundred meters of the University will study. The second farm accommodates since many years the Reception center and Prayers Jacques Saint.
